Christine & John - Barcelona, Spain

Three days before we left Barcelona for good, i was fortunate to photograph the wedding of Christine + John. This super-sexy Florida couple, followed by an entourage of their close friends and family, flew to Spain to tie the knot in the famous Santa Maria Cathedral in the Barri Gotic on April 11.

This region of Spain had been suffering a drought, but for the first time in almost two months it poured with rain during their ceremony. By the time we were ready to leave the church for photos, the streets were lit with wet reflections rising from the cobblestone roads....and just in time for nightfall. so pretty.

The next 7 images are all from Sarah & Rob's wedding in Whistler. Their wedding was photographed by Kyoko and was featured in the new 2008 issue of AisleWalk magazine. We were lucky to also have our good friend and fellow photographer Andrew Reilly from Baltimore second shooting with Kyoko that day! (I think he was pretty excited about the helicopter ride up to the top of the mountain where the ceremony took place):

Stefanie and Jarrod - Kelowna, BC

I just finished preparing these images for print. Some of them will be published in the new issue of A Perfect Wedding Magazine available this Jan 2008...... just thought i'd share a few of my favorites!
Stefanie and Jarrod were married at the Grand Hotel in Kelowna, BC on August 18, 2007.

Karen & Kenny

Karen and Kenny were married at the Queen Elizabeth Celabration Pavillion in Vancouver BC on July 21, 2007.

Their reception was held at the Rich Ocean Chinese Restaurant:

 

Laura & David

Laura and David were married at Hycroft Manor in Vancouver, BC on July 28, 2007. The decor was provided by Colin Upright of Upright Decor. Flower creations by Darlene Meyers Jackson. Hair and makup by Hayley Miller.

Just as the guests were seated for dinner, Laura surprised David with musician performing two of David's favorite Chet Baker songs:

Beth & Nathan - Mayan Riviera, Mexico

The spring 07 issue of Wedluxe Magazine featured two real life weddings I was privileged enough to capture during this last year. One was the wedding of Beth and Nathan who were married at the Azul Beach Resort in the Mayan Rivera, Mexico on Jan 11, 2007. This couple are two of the sweetest people I have ever met! It was such a treat to be able to spend time getting to know them and their family in one of the most beautiful places on the planet!
